Capital Analytics is a leading Actuarial Consulting firm, focusing on the application of robust modeling principles to business problems. Capital Analytics was founded in 2006 by Sam Isaacson, a consultant with extensive experience in Actuarial Consulting (ex-Deloitte) and Financial Markets (ex-Peregrine). In executing their projects, Capital Analytics can draw on a wealth of experience in diverse areas such as:
Insurance (Life & General) Banking (Retail, Commercial & Investment) Medical Aid Schemes Investments (Equity, Bonds, Property, Hedge Funds) Oil Industry Public sector Data Mining
We are opposed to the current trend of super-specialization and instead favour a multi-discplinary approach. Our experience has shown that a broad but related knowledge base is far more useful to our clients in delivering holisitic, integrated solutions to their problems. However, we do not sacrifice depth for breadth...in many instances, the breadth of skill we have allows us to deepen our knowledge in other areas through a cross-pollenation of ideas and concepts that would otherwise have remained hidden. In particular, our strength comes from a synthesis of skills in three core areas:
Business Mathematical & Financial Modeling Technology
Last but not least, we must not overlook the passion for the work we do. This is the glue that binds all of the above together. This passion derives from people that have a naturally favourable disposition towards knowledge, problem-solving & creative thought. |
