Insurance Gateway is thrilled to introduce our brand new electronic newspaper. The final product is available as both a mobile and desktop application.

Our aim with the app was to develop an electronic newspaper that would dynamically reflect and complement our more extensive Insurance Gateway website. The pages are designed to effortlessly showcase our unique content and feature rich articles, alongside social media sharing features. In addition to providing the most relevant and up to date industry news, there is also a strong focus on careers and events.

The first editorial issue is available now, as a free app from the Play Store. When you install our app you will notice that our page layouts have been reimagined with convenience and ease of use in mind.

Inside, you will find our cover story under the health care insurance section about OxERA. This proudly South African invention, named OxERA (Oxygen-Efficient Respiratory Aid) The innovation may very well have a positive impact on the fight against COVID-19. In addition you will also find up to date industry news; opinion articles, and the latest regulatory requirements.

Since launching as an insurance and financial services information portal in 2005, Insurance Gateway has grown to a multi-national resource covering South Africa and fifteen sub-Saharan African countries. With more than a thousand directories, thousands of listings and over one million hits each month, the new electronic newspaper comes as a welcome value add to the Insurance Gateway experience. The platform also provides marketing opportunities for brand awareness and limited advert space.

The new design is the first in a series of significant changes planned for the overall website in 2021. We are indebted to our team and partners, for the countless hours of design and coding that has gone into the project. We invite you to download the app and share your thoughts by reaching out to us on social media or by contacting us via the contact page.

We hope that our readers, new and old, will find the App as appealing and accessible as we do.
