In February 1998 Abelard extended their portfolio of covers offered to include specialist liability and motor risks specifically geared to meet the challenging needs of the Security Industry.

Our specialist underwriters have extensive experience in these specialist fields and offer tailor made solutions to meet specific client needs.

In 2005 Abelard was provided with facilities to write One-Off Event Liability Cover, Professional Indemnity and Directors and Officers. In some instances, the cover is written to a binder, and we will be issuing the Policy documentation and dealing with the claims, and in other instances the cover will be placed on an Open Market basis, with all underwriting and claims under the control of Lloyds Underwriters.
